Parental involvement

5th grade teachers at Ackerman Elementary School hosted a parental involvement night where the parents were able to experience a day in the life of a 5th grader!  The students had a great time keeping their parents on task, and they had a great turnout


WES Flex

Weir Elementary School  1st and 2nd graders are working hard their new flexible seating to do independent work. They are getting more work done and enjoying not sitting at their desk for everything. This has really motivated them to work hard. #chargernation 






Writing skills

Students in Mrs. McCulloch's 4th grade ELA class at Ackerman Elementary School have been digging in to their writing skills.  Different activities and lessons keep these students on track and rocking their 4th grade skills.





English work

Mrs. Chamblee's 6th graders at Ackerman Elementary School are working on their prefixes, suffixes, antonyms, and other reading skills.  These students are working extremely hard.  



Activity

Mrs. Lucas has her 6th graders at Ackerman Elementary School working on regular and irregular nouns. They are identifying and describing by playing a fun game of  Headbanz and an activity with plates!


PBIS Store

Students in Mrs. Woodward and Mrs. Hunt's 1st grade class at Ackerman Elementary School went shopping in the PBIS Store on Tuesday.  Some students purchased items, and some students decided to save up for a bigger purchase!  Great job students!
