Eupora Elementary School fourth-graders thank these local businesses for helping them learn about character education through the book “The Way to Go”: Bank of Kilmichael, Dabbs Pharmacy and Gifts, Hilton Garden Inn in Starkville, In Motion Orthotics, Hometown Physical Therapy, Southern Sawdust, State Farm and Wise-Reed Funeral Home.

Friends of the Library

John Floyd, mystery short story writer from Brandon, was the guest speaker for the September meeting for Friends of Webster Library on Sept. 9. It was an enjoyable meeting as the attendees listened to Floyd explain his experiences during the writing process for his stories. He gave pointers to anyone thinking about writing.




EES mini-cheer camp

Eupora Elementary girls attended mini-cheer camp the first week in September and performed before the Sept. 6 football game against French Camp. They are wearing gold in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
