The Mississippi State Fire Marshal’s Office is distributing 23,526 smoke alarms to city and county fire departments throughout the state.
Distribution began May 15 when several departments picked up their alarms. Additional alarms will be delivered to other departments.
Winston County Farm Bureau sponsors the annual coloring sheet contest.
Over 310 coloring sheets were sent to the 2nd grades in Winston County. Students color and entire 11-inch by 17-inch farm scene page furnished to the school by Farm Bureau.
